COMMENTS

2002-2004: No-Till rice-soybean rotation.

2005-2007: Conventional rice-soybean rotation.  Flat planted with drill and used side inlet irrigation in ’05.

2008-2012:  Limited tillage rice-soybean rotation.  Limited tillage included field cultivator, disk harrow, land plan, pipe drag.

Conservation plan for the field is side inlet irrigation, irrigation water mgt., water usage in a conventional system.

Conservation Demonstrated: (1) side inlet irrigation; (2) crop residue; (3) comparison of water usage in a conventional system vs. no-till system; (4) slotted board riser pipe
