COMMENTS

 2002 – 2011: No-till furrow – irrigated and has 38” rows.

Spring and fall of 2011:  middle buster, row conditioning (harrow) used.  Middle buster, paratilled and bedded.

Conservation Plan for the field is crop rotation; crop residue, nematode study and irrigation water mgt.

Conservation demonstrated: (1) Crop rotation impact on nematodes (2) Irrigation water mgt. (3) Runoff monitoring to show reduction in sediment loss
